Field-by-field comparison

Compare the evidence before choosing an MCP.

Each signal stays separate, missing facts remain visible, and the column order follows your selection.

Task fit
Best for
  • SEO analysis across Search Console properties, queries, pages, indexing status, and sitemaps
  • Generating chart-based technical indicators and summaries for symbols supported by the project's TradingView integration
Not ideal for
  • General web analytics or SEO work that does not use Google Search Console data
  • Auditable investment decisions, guaranteed real-time quotes, or order execution
Avoid when
  • You cannot grant the configured OAuth user or service account access to the relevant Search Console property
  • The output would be treated as financial advice or used without independently checking data freshness and symbol coverage

Access and data
AuthenticationUses Google OAuth client-secrets JSON and browser login, or a Google service-account JSON whose email has access to the Search Console property. No TradingView account or API key is required. MARKETAUX_API_TOKEN is optional; hosted-service account and authentication details are not fully documented.
CostThe MIT-licensed server lists no MCP fee. Google Cloud or Search Console quota and billing implications are not documented.Self-hosting is MIT-licensed. The README lists hosted plans at $9 or $29 per month with a three-day trial, and a Marketaux free key limited to 100 requests per day.
PermissionsLists Google Search Console properties and reads analytics, URL inspection, and sitemap data. Site and sitemap add/delete tools are disabled unless GSC_ALLOW_DESTRUCTIVE=true.Accesses public market data for quotes, technical analysis, screeners, backtests, news, and sentiment. The publisher says it does not execute trades or manage money.
Data handlingSearch Console properties, queries, pages, crawl and indexing results, and sitemap data are returned to the connected client. OAuth tokens are saved for reuse; service-account JSON is read from a configured path. Further retention is not documented.Market-data requests and results are processed by the self-hosted or hosted server. Optional news and sentiment calls use Marketaux when MARKETAUX_API_TOKEN is configured; provider retention is not documented.
Limitations
Tradeoffs
  • It reduces manual reporting work, but the assistant can see sensitive search-performance data and optional destructive site or sitemap operations require an explicit flag.
  • Natural-language analysis is convenient, while upstream data availability and indicator interpretation can still be incomplete or wrong.
Risk contextCan expose private Search Console data and, when explicitly enabled, modify sites or sitemaps. Protect credential files, leave destructive tools disabled unless required, and restrict remote SSE deployments.Outputs are informational, not financial advice, and can be delayed, inaccurate, or incomplete. Do not treat signals or backtests as recommendations; verify data and third-party terms.
