Field-by-field comparison

Compare the evidence before choosing an MCP.

Each signal stays separate, missing facts remain visible, and the column order follows your selection.

Uncheck an MCP to remove it. Comparing two or three keeps each signal in its own row.

Task fit
Best for
  • Providing coding agents with Figma node structure, styles, variables, and design assets needed for implementation
  • SEO analysis across Search Console properties, queries, pages, indexing status, and sitemaps
Not ideal for
  • Replacing designer review or guaranteeing pixel-perfect production code from arbitrary files
  • General web analytics or SEO work that does not use Google Search Console data
Avoid when
  • The connected Figma account exposes confidential files that should not be sent to the AI client
  • You cannot grant the configured OAuth user or service account access to the relevant Search Console property

Access and data
AuthenticationUses a personal access token through FIGMA_API_KEY or X-Figma-Token, or an OAuth bearer token. HTTP also supports per-request token headers.Uses Google OAuth client-secrets JSON and browser login, or a Google service-account JSON whose email has access to the Search Console property.
CostThe MIT-licensed server lists no MCP fee. Figma plan and API limits, client, and model costs are separate. The MIT-licensed server lists no MCP fee. Google Cloud or Search Console quota and billing implications are not documented.
PermissionsReads Figma file and node data through the Figma API and downloads PNG, SVG, or GIF assets into a configured local image directory; no Figma write capability is documented.Lists Google Search Console properties and reads analytics, URL inspection, and sitemap data. Site and sitemap add/delete tools are disabled unless GSC_ALLOW_DESTRUCTIVE=true.
Data handlingFigma metadata and API responses are returned to the MCP client; raw tools write figma-raw.json locally and image tools save assets locally. Telemetry sends server, platform, session, and event metadata by default; retention is not documented.Search Console properties, queries, pages, crawl and indexing results, and sitemap data are returned to the connected client. OAuth tokens are saved for reuse; service-account JSON is read from a configured path. Further retention is not documented.
Limitations
Tradeoffs
  • Structured design context reduces screenshot guesswork, but output quality still depends on file organization and granting access to Figma data.
  • It reduces manual reporting work, but the assistant can see sensitive search-performance data and optional destructive site or sitemap operations require an explicit flag.
Risk contextPrivate design data and assets can reach the MCP client or model and local raw logs; telemetry adds metadata transmission. Protect tokens, restrict the image directory, and review downloaded and raw files. Can expose private Search Console data and, when explicitly enabled, modify sites or sitemaps. Protect credential files, leave destructive tools disabled unless required, and restrict remote SSE deployments.
