Field-by-field comparison

Compare the evidence before choosing an MCP.

Each signal stays separate, missing facts remain visible, and the column order follows your selection.

Uncheck an MCP to remove it. Comparing two or three keeps each signal in its own row.

Task fit
Best for
  • Advanced coding-agent users who need Ruflo's multi-agent orchestration, memory and coordination capabilities and intentionally use its MCP integration.
  • Inspecting pages, console and network activity, automating browser actions, and collecting performance evidence in Chrome
Not ideal for
  • Users looking for a small single-purpose MCP server with a minimal permission/context footprint.
  • API-only testing or browsers outside the project's documented Chrome support
Avoid when
  • Do not publish the project's advertised MCP/tool counts as Runtime Verified or a measured Context Footprint.
  • The controlled browser contains personal accounts, secrets, or sessions that the MCP client must not inspect or modify

Access and data
AuthenticationDepends on the selected Ruflo deployment, model providers and integrated services; exact secrets must be bound from project/local evidence. No server authentication is documented for local stdio. Running-browser connections support optional WebSocket headers; an open remote-debugging port lets local applications control Chrome.
CostOpen-source framework; model/API/infrastructure costs depend on configured providers. The open-source npm package lists no MCP fee. Chrome, Node.js, client, model, and external-service costs are separate.
PermissionsPotentially broad coding/project execution authority across orchestrated agents and integrations.Inspects, debugs, automates, and modifies browser state through navigation, input, script evaluation, screenshots, uploads, extensions, memory, performance, and PWA tools.
Data handlingProject code, agent memory and orchestration context can flow through configured model/providers and persistence layers.Browser content is exposed to the connected client. Performance tools send trace URLs to Google CrUX by default, and usage statistics with invocation success, latency, and environment data are enabled by default; broader retention is not documented.
Limitations
Tradeoffs
  • Promoted after strict re-audit: canonical identity and MCP-native/publisher-backed implementation are sufficiently evidenced, with real workflow value, usable documentation, understandable permissions, plausible maintenance, and no unresolved security veto. Still not strong enough for Selected.
  • Deep DevTools access improves debugging, but exposes browser content and state; usage statistics and CrUX URL lookups are enabled by default unless disabled.
Risk contextBroad agent execution/orchestration and rapid evolution create a substantially larger trust surface than a narrow read-only MCP.Can expose sensitive browser sessions and execute arbitrary browser actions or scripts. Use isolated profiles, URL allow/block patterns, restricted file paths, and do not expose remote-debugging ports.
